The BIG Donate is a week of giving from 8th - 12th July 2024

During the week, you can donate anything to raise funds for Embracing Arts.

This might be something you do every day like...

Organising your BIG Donate!

When you sign up for The BIG Donate, you'll receive by email access to our BIG Donate resources. Every BIG Donor will receive a certificate for taking part and a poster to display during the week to advertise your donation. The fundraising guide has everything you need to get started, but here are some simple steps to give you an idea of how to organise your BIG Donate:

  1. Registrations are now open, so you can now sign up to join The BIG Donate! It's helpful to know how many people are likely to take part and the kinds of activities people are doing to raise donations.

  2. Plan your activity! The BIG Donate Week will be from 8th to 12th July. Have a think about how you will raise donations and anything you need to plan ahead.

  3. Invite your friends, family and colleagues! When you sign up, you will receive a a poster that can help you spread the word of your activity. You can also share your BIG Donate plans with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter #BIGDonate

  4. Send in your money via our Enthuse campaign page. Your BIG Donate fundraising guide contains details of how to get the money you raise to us. Your efforts could help us improve the wellbeing of children who are consistently excluded from the arts due to the barriers they face through disability, health or care needs.

How can I raise money?

Fundraising for your BIG Donate couldn’t be easier, and our fundraising guide is a great place to start. It’s full of inspiration and ideas to help you raise vital funds, whilst having fun and doing what you normally do (it really is that easy!)

You’ll get your fundraising resources as soon as you sign up (which you can do from 29th August), so you can start fundraising straight away. You can involve colleagues, family, friends or simply raise funds yourself. No matter how you raise funds for us, or how much or little you raise, as a small charity, every donation makes a real difference to us.

What if I’m not free during the BIG Donate Week?

We encourage everyone to organise their event during the BIG Donate Week, which is 8th to 12th July 2024. We understand that this is not always possible, so if you would like to organise your BIG Donate at another time, email the Embracing Arts team and we can support you to do so.

How do I pay in my BIG Donate fundraising?

Every penny raised in The BIG Donate goes towards our work bringing inclusive arts to ALL.  You will be able to pay your donation to us via our Enthuse Campaign Page.

Making your donations go further with Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, your donation can go even further by opting for Gift Aid when you make your donation - look out for the option on the Just Giving page.

I have another question. Who can I ask?

If you need any more help please email the Embracing Arts team
